Pete Burak

Pete serves as the Director of i.d.9:16, a ministry devoted to helping young adults become intentional disciples of Jesus Christ. He is a 2010 graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville, and has  a Master’s in Theology from Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit, MI. Pete is a frequent speaker at numerous youth and young adult events, and he is the Camp Co-Director of Pine Hills Boys Camp. Pete and his wife Cait, have two daughters, Grace and Erin, and a new baby boy, Donovan.

Sarah Kaczmarek

Sarah serves are the National Director of Alpha YouthShe holds a BA in English Literature, a MA in therapeutic counseling, and is currently completing a MA in Pastoral Studies in Evangelization.  Prior to her post at Alpha she was the Director of Youth Ministry & Evangelization for 11 years at a church in Detroit, MI.  She loves a good cup of coffee, foodie adventures, exploring the world, and passionately praying for the evangelization of the next generation.

Pete is the Director of Young Adult Ministry for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, WI. Ever since his awakening to Catholicism through a youth ministry program, Pete Burds has used his five loaves and two fish for the sake of building the kingdom. Through storytelling, retreats, and leading worship, he has proclaimed the freedom found in Christ to thousands. Pete is a wanna-be philosopher, has a mild obsession with the band Switchfoot, and because of Christ, finds himself living a life greater than he could have dreamed.

Emily serves as the Associate Director of Marriage and Family Life for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, WI. She hails from Rockford, Illinois and received her B.A. in Theology from Marquette University in 2011. She subsequently spent 2 years serving as a Catholic missionary with a non-profit organization based in Minnesota called NET Ministries. Emily is a middle child who enjoys dancing, biking, traveling, spending time with her family, and drinking chai tea. She has a passion for evangelization, having experienced herself the transforming power of the Gospel and a personal relationship with Jesus.
